I asked by pm and on the postcrossing forum the following:
“Will you / Who can send my mom a postcard. It is for her birthday ! (6 september)
She collect Teddy Bears (toys), so it would be nice to sent a Teddy Bear Card or another card like a view of your beautifull country is also nice.
She can read Dutch and German.
When you write in English it is also good, I will translate it for her.”
It was a big, nice surprise for my Mom. She phoned or sent sms messages to me when a card arrived.
Patricia, Christian, Michaela, Shaunna and Maria thank you very much !

Nadine wrote a lot on the backside of this card!
“…. you see the city’s harbour and the ship Queen Mary II. The harbour is full with people saying goodbye to the ship: evey time she comes here many tourists visit our city to see this ship, and indeed it’s amazig to see it down there at the harbour, a huge ship instead of the small ones we’re used to. In summer it’s nice at the harbour, you can go walking a the river Elbe and even have a swm at the Elbe’s beach: the water is clean enough to do so without threatering your health. ….”
Thanks Nadine! and also for the stamps.

This is a fun and interesting card from Candy. Interesting because of the front and the back side.
Front: It is possible to turn the circle on the front. Every turn shows an other landmark of Taiwan.
Back side: Beautifull stamps and a lot of writen text in English and Chinese.

Since 18 February 2006 we are a member of postcrossing.com. In the first year we only sent and received official postcrossing cards. This year in 2007, the female person of this member couple of postcrossing, started swapping and tagging with members of the forum of postcrossing.
Our postcard collection is gradually growing. At this time we have forty-one postcards.
So nine cards to go for our first milestone!
